About Me

I'm Annetta and welcome to my blog.  I wanted to start a blog because I enjoy telling a story through pictures and words—a journal of my life.  I’m a wife to my handsome high school sweetheart.  I’m a mama to 4, a child of God, a photographer, a part-time teacher and full-time crazy.  I’m a foster mom and soon to be adoptive mama.  I love running.  I hate running.  I love babies and ice cream and sports.  I vacuum every day.  Our friends have become family.  My thumb is green and gardening is my therapy.  I wanna be a rock star.  The beach just makes me smile.  I love my Haitian buddies.  I like to get dirty but don’t like messes.  Some rules are meant to be broken or at least bent.  Jesus is in my heart.  I crave organization.    I’m a busy body, a home body and a do it yourself kind of girl.  I love projects.  I hate projects.  I wish I didn’t quit piano lessons.  I work hard and play hard.  Laundry stinks.  I wish I was a better cook.  I worry.  I have a heart for the fatherless.  I seek justice.  Karaoke is just plain fun, so is dancing.  I am thankful for those that have come into my life and made me who I am.  There are moments in your life that define you.  Moments that change your life and you are never the same.  Whether these moments are big or small, I want to remember them.  I want my children to learn from them.  I want to share them with my grandchildren.  Come along for the ride…..
